At home all over the world

Photovoltaic installer Michael Kienle concentrates the sun's rays around the earth.

India, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, Honduras and Norway. The list of countries where Michael Kienle has already installed and commissioned photovoltaics systems is long. He also worked for one semester in Indonesia and another in Liberia while studying electrical engineering.

“Right after my voluntary social year, I already knew that I needed a job ‘with meaning’,” says the 30-year-old. Helping people in need, traveling the world and doing something about climate change at the same time – that’s right up his street. And best of all, he found exactly the right employer to make his dreams come true at the Neu-Ulm startup BOS – a manufacturer of innovative energy storage systems. (MSK)
